Measure and mark 1 in 2 5 cm long sections along an entire piece of dowel.
If you have a centering hinge drill use the hinge as a template and the finish repair will be better than new and last for years.
Open the door wide and insert a wedge under the bottom outside corner to level it.
This method puts the top of the dowel flush with the surface of the hinge mortise.
Sometimes retightening the hinge screws is all it takes to fix the problem.
In particular the side where the hinges fasten onto the door tends to crack or split in certain situations.
I use oak dowels apposed to pine.
Use a hand saw or any type of power saw you have available to cut the pieces.
You will need a 1 in 2 5 cm long piece of dowel for each loose hole you need to fix.
