How to fix f150 door lock.

Pull the entire lock mechanism up and guide it out of the door. Remove plugs start by removing the grid covered elbow vent beneath the exposed part of the door latch. Unplug the harness from the mechanism and use a screwdriver to push out the clips holding the actuator to the mechanism. Then reinstall on the latch assy making sure the rod on the lock motor is lined up with the locking arm on the latch.
